The NBA All-Star game of 2002 had many great moments, but perhaps what stood out the most were the kicks that Michael Jordan rocked during the game. The Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” that Michael Jordan wore during the game is arguably one of the best colorways from the Jordan Brand to have ever been worn in such a game. That summer, the Jordan Brand released the sneaker, and it was a hit everywhere. And now, 16 years later, a collaborative version of the Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” is set to hit the stores, and sneakerheads can’t wait to lay their hands on these one of a kind kicks that will be part of the highly anticipated Jordan releases of 2018.

A different look
The first Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” sneakers featured a striking colorway, especially the eye catching black and white scheme, plus the bright lightning yellow detailing and a bit of chrome. The new Jordans will look as stunning, but will feature a slightly different look.
The SoleFly X Air Jordan 17 Low features an attractive Lightning Yellow, Black-Metallic and Silver color way. There’s an eye-catching black ostrich detailing on the eyestay and ankle, which adds a luxurious look to the sneaker. Chrome accents are present on the shoe’s the lace eyelets and heel counter. The shoe’s insoles are an attractive bright yellow and feature SoleFly’s signature branding. The iconic Jumpman logo appears on the side of the outer sole while the heels are co-branded. The sneaker also features an attractive translucent midsole.
More than just a looker
That the SoleFly X Air Jordan 17 Low is a looker is undisputable, but sneakerheads will love the shoe for more than just its neat appearance. As its upper is made of premium leather, the durability of this shoe is a guarantee. And with a design that embraces the feet so snuggly, buyers will love to rock the shoes for longer periods.
SoleFly owner Carlos Prieto has so far confirmed that the SoleFly X Air Jordan 17 Low will hit select Jordan Brand stores on February 16th this year.
