Over the years the traditional Air Jordan 1 architecture has proven the perfect specimen for the maestros at Air Jordan to experiment with as the model has laid the groundwork for a lot of sneaker variations from Royal colorways to OG banned alterations.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High Flyknit
Color: Black/Medium Grey-White
Release Date: January 13, 2018
And after bit or reimagination and a sprinkling of the Jordan pixy dust, alas another pair of slick sneakers was born in the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit “Shadow”. These new Jordans are a chip off the 2013 AJ 1 Shadow block with it incorporating the same OG colorway as the one its predecessor rocked albeit with a bit of remastering and some fine tuning.
The Air Jordan 1 Flyknit “Shadow” Flyknit takes on an obsidian color coding that is complimented beguilingly by a white variation that rivals the enthralling black for a considerable share of the upper body pie. The blanched white is presented quite gorgeously in the form of chain mail like weaved patches that reside along the side and across the hell area and also on the toe region with a little part peeping into the lace area.
Amidst the overflowing snowy shades on the side, an artistic enchantingly dark Wings logo stands out and a few inches below it, a milky swoosh overlaps to either half of the heel area with a dark empty shade preceding it around the circumference. Another similarly colored Nike Air trademark stakes the top of the tongue while a laid back slightly visible and darker alteration of the moniker resides on the grey insole.
Moving on to the bottom, an alabaster-inspired midsole forms the divide between the upper body and the base with the outsole incorporating a subtle shade of concrete like white that matches that of its Flyknit counterpart. To add a bit of flair to the achromatic base, Air Jordan has thrown in quite a number of lovely design patterns to spruce up the areas either side of the immersed minute Nike Air logo. To cap off the architecture, a vintage 1985 detail dons the interior lining of the tongue.
