Triple Black and Triple White
There are two shoes in the Primknit collection – the Triple Black and the Triple White. As the name suggests, one is done in solid black and the other done in solid white. Aside from the color, there is really no marked difference between these two kicks.
The shoe bodies are done in a knitted pattern with material so light you’d feel as though you are wearing socks instead of solid and durable shoes. The laces are done in the same color as the rest of the kicks so it will not be hard to replace them should you need a find to get rid of the original pair. Since there’s not much discrepancy in color, Adidas chose to make the Adidas NMD R1 Primeknit soles interesting by making good use of patterns and texture on the surface of the kicks. Suffice it to say, seeing these shoes would make you think of finely knitted clothing with fabrics so small they’re soft to the touch.
Of course, the soles are kept tight, thick, and hard. Not much embellishment is made on the soles aside from the Japanese characters that are written along the bottom front. Both models have this Japanese writing. On the heels, you’ve got another icon display to make the shoes even more identifiable.
All in all, it’s a fairly good buy – especially if you’re looking for something you can wear practically anywhere.
Product Release and Price
The Adidas NMD R1 Primeknit should be out on August 11, 2017 – arriving earlier than the single release Triple Grey. The price is likely to stay at $170 although this isn’t sure yet. Being classics and a favorite in the market, the Adidas NMD R1 Primeknit might increase slightly in price for the 2017 release.
Keep in mind that the $170 price is for each pair – which means that you’ll have to decide whether you prefer the Triple Black or the Triple White. Since both shoes boast of a classic color the easily blends in with almost anything – there can be no wrong choice on your part.
Of course, you can always wait a few more days and simply get the Triple Grey colorway which follows the same close silhouette with the Adidas NMD R1 Primeknit. Just add $30 to your budget in order to buy the later model.
