The very rare, very exclusive, incredibly impressive Air Jordan 3 is back in the market! If you have been stashing some money waiting for the perfect kicks that has your name on it – this might well be it.
So what exactly does this silhouette and colorway have to offer? To start off, this Air Jordan 3 is screaming RED. The majority of the shoes are done in red with just variances in texture and shading.
Sneaker News recently released close ups of these shoes and by RED, they really do mean RED. The soles are in the same basic shade along with the trim, the heels, the tongue, the laces, and everything else. The only defining shade here is the speckled portions combining shades of red and dark red. The pattern is a little hard to describe: think leopard patterns and you have got a pretty good idea of how it looks like. From the initial look of things, you can immediately tell that the speckled portions have a different texture, which adds to its appeal.
The edges are lined with a very conservative white and in between the trim and soles, you’ve got lace-liked edging that stands out from all the red of the shoes. The heel portion seems to be ribbed with an embossed image of the Jump Man logo. Yes – the logo is also done in red but don’t worry, it’s slightly raised so you can immediately see the silhouette of His Airiness in his most memorable pose ever.
The center of the tongue also carries the Jump Man logo, as expected with the Air Jordan 3 silhouette. Unfortunately, this one isn’t as clear as the one in the back. The logo is mostly depressed rather than raised and also done in the same hue so you might need to squint your eyes a little to view it completely.
Just a little background: the Air Jordan 3 all-red exclusive was originally made for Justin Timberlake. It was first released in 2013 and was used by the ex-N’Sync member during the Legends of Summer Tour. By all accounts, the music artist probably still has his.
The pertinent questions here are: when will it be released and how much? This exclusive pair somehow found its way on eBay, to be sold by some guy who has no idea how lucky he is. Or maybe he does? The bidding war for these babies are now at $7,000.
