Early this year in May, the news that the Air Jordan IE Lows are making a comeback made its way to reach Jordan heads as well as similar enthusiasts.
Without doubt, the original AJ11s is one of Michael Jordan’s most iconic pair ever created. Without a doubt, the combination of the translucent outsole, patent leather, as well as mesh on the shoe became a trademark look for the AJ11 that is just hard to resist especially for those who got an eye for a nice pair of kicks. The fame of the AJ11 was such that the Air Jordan 11 Lows came into existence. For over 20 years, Jordan Brand has seen to it to release contending varieties for Jordan Brand fans.
The IE versions of the Air Jordan 11s have seen to the combination of upper leather and a mesh combination with elephant print. The patent leather typical of the AJ11s was dropped which might be the reason why it has fallen over the wayside for a time from the usual fame by which Jordan Brand shoes are always taken with. But for whatever its worth, Sneaker News reveals that the low versions of the AJ11s are actually one of MJ’s game worn kicks of shoes on the court.
On the other hand, it would seem that the Air Jordan 11 IE Low Croc would be stealing the limelight for the Air Jordan 11 IE Low “Cobalt” which will be making its debut in August 1, 2015.
Unlike the Cobalt which sports the original colorway of white leather, gum soles, and the cobalt-inspired prints on the side panel, the AJ11 IE Low Croc would be using black leather and in place of the cobalt prints, a crocodile skin applique right on the mudguard hence the name. The only version of the design which will be retained on both versions is the flesh colored gum soles accented with a white midsole.
On a closer look, the shoes insoles also comes in black marked with a red square with the number 30 in color black to celebrate the years of Jordan Brand’s success. The Jumpman logo found on the tongue is also stitched in gold color which is a shade reminiscent of the croc-applique that the shoes have.
With murmurs afloat, the Air Jordan 11 IE Low Croc is expected to hit the market on September 2015 but no exact Jordan release date has been given yet.
