Air Jordan XX9 Home “Playoff Pack”
Color:White/Cool Blue-Photo Blue
Release Date: April 15, 2015
The Playoff Pack is actually composed of two pairs of shoes: the Home and Away versions – both of which are remarkably distinctive in their own right. Celebrating 30 years of the Air Jordan brand, it isn’t surprising that Nike decided to add the Playoff Pack to what would be a year-long celebration of some of the best shoes from His Airiness.
Air Jordan XX9 Home “Playoff Pack” Design
The Home design is a combination of white, photo blue and cool blue while the Away design is a darker version, combining colors of black, white and cool blue. Other than that though, Sneaker News notes that there’s not much difference between the two.
The body of the shoes is dressed in horizontal waves, encircling the extent of the surface. The waves are done in white, making them incredibly easy to spot amid the black surface. The soles are layered colors of photo blue and cool blue with a semi-translucent bottom. The tongue is done in photo blue with a large and very distinctive number “23” design that’s easily spotted from far away. Completing the look are black laces which blends well with the overall body of the shoes.
Of course, this being the Jordan Brand – the signature Jump Man logo is present – and more obvious than ever. Instead of the logo being placed along the heel, it occupies a larger area on the side. The design is done completely in white that makes it even more attention-grabbing. At the bottom of the shoe, you’ve got another Jump Man logo – creating a very distinctive pattern every time you take a step.
