Air Jordan 11 Low “Georgetown”
Color:Low Grey Mist/White-Midnight Navy
Release Date: April 11, 2015
The Jordan release date for the Georgetown pair is set for April 2015, according to Sneaker News. Part of the Remastered Series celebrating 30 successful years of the Jordan brand, there’s no question that Nike is doing something special for the 2015 version of the Air Jordan 11 Low “Georgetown.”
The upper portion features a mesh style that works well with the Midnight Navy overlay. The midsole are done in basic white with the outsole featuring an icy translucent color. The laces are done in white while the tongue follows the mesh pattern, putting focus on the simple yet eye-catching combination of mesh grey and midnight navy. There is a lining on the mouth of Georgetown with the inside of the shoe emblazoned with the number “30” – identifying it as part of the 2015 series.
Along the heel, you will find the number “23” marking and we all know what that is for exactly. To wrap it up, there is the Jump Man logo done in white at the heel – but it is surprisingly small compared to other Jordan shoes. Along the front, right in the center of the tongue rests another Jump Man logo stitched on a small strip of cloth.
The bottom portion is also a clever combination of white, icy translucent, and midnight navy. For the third time, there’s the Jump Man logo placed right on the center – making a statement each time you take a step.
Form and Comfort
Definitely one of the most popular Jordan pairs today, the Air Jordan 11 Low “Georgetown” just screams “comfort” from every angle. The gray mesh top gives the wearer a very fresh feel, allowing them to continue using the shoes without worrying about the heat. Made mostly from leather, the Georgetown model carries the undisputable Nike quality when it comes to comfort and durability.
Buy the Air Jordan 11 Low “Georgetown”
According to Sneaker News, the Georgetown will be available for $170 – definitely cheaper than other Jordan models recently released this year. With still a few months to wait, it’s best to decide now whether this is the design you want from the much lauded series. The Georgetown will be available in all Jordan brand stores all over the world.
First spotted in 2012, the Georgetown is really something special since there have been a previous collection of Air Jordan shoes specially giving a nod to the school. However, those same shoes are only available for display which means that with the Air Jordan 11 Low “Georgetown”, you’re really getting something inspired from Nike.
