Air Jordan 10 Retro Chicago 45
Color: White/Varsity Red-Black
Style Code: 310805-102
Release Date: March 28,2015
The Air Jordan 10 Retro Chicago was last released in 2012 and instantly became a favorite among Jordan fans. Also going by the name “Double Nickel”, Sneaker News reveals that the same design will be released for 2015, in time for the Remastered Series. Celebrating the brand’s 30 years in the industry, they are making the “Chicago” better and bolder than ever using brand new technology meant to make this shoe longer lasting.
This one’s a beauty, combining three powerful colors of red, white, and black – all perfectly layered to make the shoe stand out. No question about it, the Air Jordan 10 Retro Chicago is the kind of shoes you would be wearing for a game.
The outer edges of the shoe together with the interior boasts of a bright red lining, providing a perfect contrast against the midnight black of the tongue. The dark color extends down to the anchors of the shoelaces, making the black lace seem invisible against the top portion of the shoes. The majority of the body however is a full-on white with simple yet distinctive markings. From there, we have got black edges that combine with the dark outsole with horizontal red stripes. The stripes run down the bottom of the shoe, much like the “Verde” design.
The Jump Man logo is on full display on the heels and the bottom, creating distinctive markings when you take a step. To wrap up the design, there’s also the number “45” placed on the side, near the end of the tongue. The bottom of the shoe also comes with inscriptions detailing MJs excellent scores during his career.
Comfort and Fit
Made from durable leather, it seems unnecessary to point out that the Chicago is meant for heavy duty use. After all, it is a remembrance of MJ’s excellent score during the March 28th 1995 game against the New York Knicks. Unfortunately, the design is all male and there is news yet on whether this will be available as GS.
