The first collaboration between the New York-based Public School label and Air Jordan is so successful that even up to now, the two companies are still churning out colorways of the same product. One of the colorways coming is the Air Jordan 12 “Bordeaux.”
Features and Design
One shade of wine-red Bourgogne wraps around the whole shoe, with the design copied from the original Air Jordan 12-Public School partnership that we first saw in 2015. The difference is that the upper is made up of more robust material. Plus, the shoes will also comes with a suede hangtags that say “Public School.” Jumpman logos of different shades of purple are located all throughout the shoes, especially in the toe-part of the sole, leather sock liners and the lace eyelets.
Air Jordan 12 “Bordeaux” Release
The Public School x Air Jordan 12 “Bordeaux” will be on store shelves within the summer season. An exact release date and price, however, has not been confirmed by the two companies. It is also the same with the two other Air Jordan 12-Public School collaboration releases due out in the next few weeks.
UA Curry 4 Low Release
In other sneakers news, Stephen Curry may not be as iconic a name as LeBron James and Michael Jordan yet, but he may as well be on his way there with the recent releases on his Curry line. One of the upcoming products that will be launched from the line is the UA Curry 4 Low, which is already regarded as a return to form for both Under Armour and Curry.
The UA Curry 4 Low is comparable to the Mid-cut version of the product, which optimized to make it better for the performance of the player. Based on the initial images of the shoes, it will make use of a black and white combination. Not much is known of the product as of the moment but it is rumored that it will be released by the summer season next year.
This secretive build up to the release of the Air Jordan 12 would have dissuaded most Jordan lovers. Instead, due to the intriguing colorway that has been chosen, people have become vocal about their interest to buy a pair. Is the excitement for this release comparable to the original one? Not by a long shot, but at least, people are talking. And that is the best Air Jordan and Public School can hope for.
