Let’s forget the Air Jordan line for a minute and focus on the primary brand responsible for many of the best AJ releases today: Nike.
Nike Air Max 95 Reverse Comet
Color: White/Wolf Grey-Pure Platinum-Team Red
Style Code: 378037-003
Reminding everyone that Nike is in itself a top-quality name, the brand releases the Nike Air Max 95 in Wolf Grey and Team Red. As the name suggests, this brand new addition to the Nike line makes uses of only classic colors, making them easily loved by sneakers fans everywhere.
Colors and Design
The official colors of the kicks are white, wolf grey, pure platinum, and team red. Majority of the shoes takes in the white, wolf grey and pure platinum coloring with the team red shade confined mainly along the length of leather above the soles. There are actually two shades of red used here, one being a brilliant hue while the other takes on a more blood-red approach. Either way, the deep shades of red instantly allows them to pop out of the woodwork as the rest of the kicks take on a paler shade of white, grey, and platinum.
From the top, you can instantly see how Nike approached the design, making use of the grey within the inner portion of exterior near the laces. At the same time, the white shading surrounds the grey, creating a crater-like design.
The laces are rounded and done in what appears to be a shade of grey. Were’ guessing plain white will look just as good with these shoes. Either way, the laces are ordinary enough to make them easily replaceable. That’s actually a good thing considering how shoelaces tend to get lost over the years.
The unmistakable Nike logo is on display on the center of the tongue in bright red colors, pulling the eyes in a split second. There’s also the Swoosh design near the quarter panel and another Nike log on the heels. Unfortunately, the heel logo is done in the same white as the leather so it’s a little harder to see.
Price and Release
It seems as though Nike plans to leave the crowd guessing as the release of the Nike Air Max 95 is still unknown. While reports say that they will be out very soon, Nike failed to give an exact date for its release. At the same time, no product price has been given. Here’s to hoping that “soon” will be sometime this June and that the price will be within the typical $200 range. Do you want one of these? Make sure to place your order now, just in case.
