Aside from the fact that it doesn’t have the “Swoosh”, this silhouette is bathed in metallic silver coloring. In fact, from the looks of things, they’re made specifically to grab attention.
Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Pinnacle
Size Run: Mens
Color: Metallic Silver/White
Style Code: 852549-003
Release Date:October 22, 2016
The silver description is pretty straightforward, but there’s actually more about this design. For one thing, the metallic silver coloring seems to be limited to the right side of the shoes with the left side sporting a more sedate dirty-white coloring. The tongue boasts of the Nike Air logo although it seems as though they’re not the same for the left and right sneakers. While the right one sports the Nike Air design, the other features a simple Nike logo. Also note that they’re of the same color as the tongue but slightly raised to make the logo more obvious.
The laces seem to be a combination of silver and grey, making them unique. Fortunately, you can easily find grey colored laces to replace them should the original laces become lost. When it comes to silver, any coloring will match beautifully so you shouldn’t have any problem replacing the laces if there’s ever a need.
The soles are done in plain white with the basic teeth marking at the bottom to facilitate a better grip.
Unfortunately, the images available today aren’t exactly forthcoming about the rest of the design. For example, there are no images from the back of the shoes there’s no assurance that the Nike or Jumpman logo will be there.
What really makes these shoes stand out however is the Jumpman keychain done in what seems to be metallic gold. The figure is attached to the shoes and looks like it can be easily removed for safekeeping. If anything else, this figure might be the reason your eventually buy these kicks.
For something that’s colored as a precious metal, this “Metallic Silver” shoe doesn’t cost much. At just $160, its price tag is cheaper than say – the Air Jordan XXXI “Shattered Backboard” which is rumored to sell for $180. Hence, if you want something iconic from Air Jordan this year but don’t really like the Shattered Backboard, this makes for an excellent alternative.
Reports say that the shoes will be available on the 22nd of October this year through selected Jordan stores. If you don’t like them however, you can always check out other new jordans, especially those with 2016 jordan Release Dates, to see which ones best appeal to you. The 23 is back and you’re in the position to choose the best!
