If you’re looking for new Air Jordan releases, check out this quarter’s Air Jordan 12 “Wool” model.
It’s easy to see where the “Wool” word came from as this Air Jordan design looks like a sleek and beautifully styled sheep. Don’t get confused – the exterior is nothing like the cloudy wool of sheep. Instead, it’s a beautifully processed exterior with very little wool-like curls done in a shade of black.
Air Jordan 12 Wool
Size Run: Mens, Grade School
Color:Dark Grey/Metallic Silver-Black
Release Date:October 1, 2016
That’s right – the exterior of the shoes are BLACK, making it the black sheep of this year’s Air Jordan lineup. Along the trim portion however is a snake-like skin that helps create dimension on the surface. It’s a very beautiful combination of contrasts – maybe not in color, but definitely in texture.
Along the edge where the trim and wool meet is the word “JUMPMAN”. The soles are done in grey with a very distinctive pattern as can be expected from the Air Jordan 12 shadow.
The icons are placed on the tongue and the back of the kicks. On the center of the tongue, you’ve got the Jumpman logo done in plain white – allowing it to stand out from the black background. From the back, you’ve got the number 23 beautifully embedded onto the bottom portion. Directly on top is another Jumpman logo although this time, the logo is done in grey – the same color as the soles. It’s a little tough to see so this isn’t really a good decision for Nike.
The shoelaces are kept simple being black and rounded. The good news – this is the type of lace you can easily chuck out and replace with an equally fitting design. To wrap it up, the bottom portion of the shoes is also created to have a little more style than usual.
All in all, they’re a pretty sweet pair with a design and coloring that’s easy on the eye and bordering on classic. They’re the kind you can wear anywhere and at anytime. There’s a good chance these kicks would be a favorite for many as it draws the eye without being too loud.
Of course, not every is fond of the “Wool” design. If you’re hoping for more new Jordans, just stay tune for more Jordan news and find out what else the brand has in store. We’re pretty sure that before the year is over, there will be more shoes coming your way.
For now though, check out the Wool image from all angles. According to news, the shoes would cost $200 which is remarkably more than the typical Air Jordan releases. They’ll be available on the 1st of October in selected Air Jordan stores.
