Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone
Color:University Blue/White-Black-University Blue
Release Date:June 11, 2016
The low-top Jordan pairs coming out recently may not look good too some but the Pantone is one of a kind even on low form. It is actually part of the For The Love of the Game Collection of the Jordan Pantone together with a pair of Air Jordan 11. The pair is one of the most awaited Jordan release dates 2016 since the news about the return of Air Jordan 9s in low form hit sneaker news from late last year.
The truth is, each model of the Air Jordan shoes has their own “Pantone” iterations but only a select few are available to the market. It is not the first time that the Pantone colorway hit one of Jordan’s shoes. Just two years ago, the Pantone Air Jordan 11 of the Ultimate Gift of Flight Pack made its debut in baby blue. The same colorway will be used by the low form AJ9 set to release late this week. The monochromatic “Pantone” build is to be expected as is the coke white midsole. The pair will be showcasing black highlights, too.
What makes the Pantone AJ9 Low pretty awesome is that it has some cool features to boot. For one, it used a laser etching technology so you get the best Jumpman signature ever found in the collection. The monochromatic Carolina Blue also goes nicely and just perfect with the White outsole and midsole of the shoes. It’s a simple rendition yet it retains the classic elegance of remastered Air Jordans. It’s the pair you should look for if you’re looking for a summer-themed shoe with a touch of Jordan retro.
Up close, the Pantone Air Jordan 9 also sports a black lining, a world logo – found on the heels atop the White-stitched number 23 – also in black, and an Air Jordan tag on the tongue also done in black. You’ll find a Carolina Blue Jumpman on the side of the midsole and another one on the outsole of the shoes. The pair looks kind of “hot” too inside with the presence of a reddish insole with a black Jumpman.
