You have probably seen the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game which is a legend in its own right. The Air Jordan 12 Gym Red/Black-White is a close relative of this historical shoe, stemming from the same silhouette but with something a little bit different. Instead of a black-red combo, it is a red-white combo with the red now occupying the top portion.
Air Jordan 12
Release Date:July 2, 2016
This means that the clean white shade takes the bottom half of the shoes, going all the way to the soles where a difference in material used tells you which part is which. The upper portion is done in red, encompassing even the tongue and the laces. For a touch of the classic, metallic flats are placed along the sides, lining the eyelets.
The tongue displays the Jumpman logo on the center with the words TWO vertically running below the kicks. Done in clean white, it is very easy to spot the logo, ensuring that anyone would be able to distinguish the brand. On the back, we’ve got the Jumpman on display again, albeit the icon is a bit smaller than the typical size here. Fortunately, there are the words JORDAN inscribed vertically and the number 23 beautifully written below the heel. The stitches are fairly obvious but since they’re placed to add to the aesthetic value and depth of the shoes, they are not really something to nitpick about.
Fairly high cut, the shoes are meant to be worn on court. Its predecessor was actually worn by Michael Jordan himself during a 1997 game although this one was under a different colorway. That being said, you can be sure that the kicks will last you a very long time, especially if worn casually.
Unfortunately, the Air Jordan 12 Gym Red/Black-White isn’t available yet. It is scheduled for a July release date which means that you will have to wait a while. The good news, however, is this: there are other Air Jordan 2016 releases before July and perhaps more AFTER July. You have the option of waiting for the Red-White Air Jordan 12 combos or buying something else under the same silhouette. Or perhaps you can buy both?
At a price tag of $190 according to Sneaker News, the Air Jordan 12 Gym Red/Black-White is not exactly cheap – but what else can you expect from a quality brand? If you like these kicks, better be first in line as online shops are getting ready to stock them. If you can find a reservation, get it!
