NIKELAB Air Force 1 Low Flyknit Multi-Color – A Reggae Look

Have you ever seen the movie “Matrix?” This is exactly what the NIKELAB Air Force 1 Low Flyknit “Multi-Color” reminds most people of due to the pattern of its multi-color exterior. Unlike in the Matrix where there is a rain of green material however, the NIKELAB Air Force 1 features a combination of different colors, all seeming to rain down to the soles of the shoes amidst a black background.

Of course, that is the impression you get from the side. From the top, it is fairly similar to the green-red-yellow color combinations often connected with reggae music. No matter what angle you look however, there is no question that the design grows on you.

This brilliant design makes the Multi-Color easy to miss at first but with a second look, you can easily appreciate the beauty of the colorway. Nike definitely knows what it is doing with this one as they combine premium black leather with outstanding pearl white outsole that creates an overall clean look. Opting not to place any ice along the sole portion of the shoes, Nike made its mark with the Swoosh logo along the sides of the kicks. The Swoosh itself is slightly raised and done in basic black, allowing it to stand out from all the colors uses on the basic body.

Preserving the classic look of the shoes however, Nike opted to keep the tongue and laced muted in black coloring. There is an indentation of a logo on the middle of the tongue although it is fairly tough to distinguish exactly what it could be. It’s a good guess however that the logo is of Michael Jordan himself in the famous Jumpman pose.

Since this is a Nike release rather than an Air Jordan brand, you can’t expect the shoes to carry the signature style of sportswear. Running along the lines of a sneaker, the NIKELAB Air Force 1 Low Flyknit “Multi-Color” looks like it is something you can wear in practically any occasion at any time.

These kicks will be available online and through different NIKELAB branches starting March 14. Unfortunately, there is no solid information as to the price of the kicks, but there is a good chance that it will be well within the affordable zone – for a Nike model.

If you are not feeling the “Multi Color”, you’ll be glad to know that this is just one of the Nike releases 2016. More are scheduled so you can have your pick once Sneaker News releases more information.
