Air Jordan Kobe Pack PE (Limited Release)–Court Tested by Kobe Himself

Who’s excited for Kobe? A Kobe Pack PE limited that is, consisting of two pair of shoes specially designed for Kobe Bryant. In fact, they’ve already been worn by the great man himself on the courts, which is probably why Sneaker News is pretty sure these babies will be in high demand even before they hit the shelves.

Release Date:February 2016
Price:$500

The two shoes are: Air Jordan 3 Kobe PE and the Air Jordan 8 Kobe PE. Together, they make up the Air Jordan Kobe Pack PE that’s set to sell for $500. That roughly puts each pair at $250 – we realize they’re more expensive than the usual Air Jordan models out in the market today, but what can you expect from a limited release?

If we have to decide, however, the Air Jordan 3 Kobe PE is definitely the better looking of the two. Featuring a white, court purple-cement and grey-university gold coloring, the kicks display the signature of Kobe along the sides instead of the usual Swoosh logo. Made mainly in white, the distinctive features include the cement like pattern displayed along the trim and the heel portion of the shoes. The outsole is done in grey with the white covering most of the midsole which is finally topped by a blue shade. As for the ever-present Jumpman logo, it’s placed on top of the plain white tongue and done in brilliant yellow, allowing it to stand out from the overall design.

The Air Jordan 8 Kobe PE is a bit more colorful but still makes use of a lot of white. Additional colors include neutral grey, court purple, university gold, and flint grey. Yes – we understand that it’s a near-perfect replica of the other colors in the Air Jordan 3 Kobe PE, but the design is entirely different for this one. For one thing, the university gold is proudly displayed outside the shoes instead of being inside it. There’s also a lot more court purple into the mix and the midsole is done in grey. Instead of the traditional laces, this colorway makes use of a belt-like structure that helps fasten the shoes on and provide support even during a game.

Are these shoes made to last? Definitely – and we know that for a fact. After all, both kicks have been used by Kobe during an intense game. The Jordan release date for these kicks is set for February 2016, so make sure you’re one of the first few to place that order. There’s no telling when the stocks will last!
