There is a new Air Jordan 11 releasing, dubbed “Moon Landing” that has just surfaced throughout the internet.
Early this morning, Spain-based sneaker shop Sivasdescalzo tweeted a link promoting a “Moon Landing” Air Jordan 11 quickstrike release for Monday. On the landing page was a pretty obvious rendering of an Air Jordan 11 styled after last year’s popular Nike Air Max Lunar90, with a countdown clock to boot. The tweet was quickly deleted, but it raised enough questions to get A.M. Sneaker Twitter buzzing. Is there really a new Air Jordan 11 on the way?
are these real? Out of nowhere comes an Air Jordan 11 that looks more like a custom work than anything else, complete with a “Moon Landing” aesthetic that features a graphic print of moon craters on the mudguard and a patriotic mix of stars and stripes on the upper. There’s a countdown on reputable sneaker store sivadescalzo right now, but December 28th also happens to be Spain’s own rendition of April Fools Day, or el Día de los Santos Inocentes, That said, these babies aren’t real (and gladly so).
