First things first, the Hornets was originally an exclusive from the Chris Paul collection. The Air Jordan 13 silhouette is already a beauty in itself but adding the Hornets colorway and you have got something that will definitely get all the fans going.

The majority of the shoes are done in black leather with a pure texture that tells you the kicks are game for anything. On the sides, you have got a strip of sky blue that is made from an obviously different material. The blue looks like it is made from suede which adds texture to the overall look of the kicks.

The midsole are a layer of black with a very thin layer of yellow for the outsole. This brings out the blue and black combination perfectly and thanks to the light shade of blue, the yellow does not look like it is out of place with this design.

A netting and dimpled black-and-white pattern rests on the upper part of the shoe, covering even the eyelets but stopping just before it reaches the portion of the heel. For the heels, we have got another layering of sky blue with a marble-like circle along the sides. Unlike other models where the Jumpman logo is stitched and place dead center of the heels, the iconic design is encased in a circular plastic that lets it stand out from the rest of the design.

The tongue and laces are both done in simple black so as not to distract from the design of the shoes. This being a Chris Paul release, the central logo on the tongue is CP instead of the typical Nike or Jumpman design. Flip the shoes and you will see a combination of black and yellow matched with another marble-like Jumpman logo.

All in all, this is one sweet pair and the Jordan release date for them is on the 7th of November this year. Chances are there are already some on the shelves of select Jordan Brand stores today. If you are feeling these kicks in any way, hightail it to the stores and pray that there are still some left.
