The Jordan Eclipse “Sweater” is an intriguing combination of quiet and active. Inspired from a sweater worn by Jordan during a McDonalds commercial, the majority of the shoes is covered in black while the front portion screams loudly of varying colors in a zigzag pattern. The primary shades utilized for the shoes are: red, blue, navy blue, and yellow. This particular pattern extends all the way to the tongue with a distinctive single-line design dividing the tongue. On top of the said line is the unmistakable Jump Man logo done with discreetly red threads.

Aside from those colors, most of the shoes are done primarily in black with the exterior sporting a weave-like pattern. Even the soles are done in black although in this case, it looks more like a strong grey – allowing for a separation between the two parts of the shoes. The laces are not flat in the traditional sense but follow a circular design which is a little different from the typical released by Jordan.
Of course, the heels also come with the Jump Man log done boldly in the color red and a little larger than the typical icon. The words AIR are also embossed on the bottom of the logo, also sporting the same red hue. As for the bottom portion – there’s really not much else to say. The underside of the Jordan Eclipse “Sweater” follows the same color of the soles without any distinctive markings.
All in all, the “Sweater” silhouette is a little behind some of Jordan’s releases for this year. Compared to other shoes that grabbed front page in Sneaker News, this baby doesn’t present much to the world. However, the bold colors may speak to some Jordan fans out there, especially if you want to mark the historic event that inspired this particular pair.
Low-cut and light, the Sweater has the look of something you use for going outdoors and hanging out with friends. It’s definitely a stand out – but not too much type of shoe that manages to blend in and yet be noticed – all at the same time.
The Jordan release date for the Sweater was weeks ago, which means that they’re already available in all Jordan Brand stores! If you’re feeling the screaming colors combined with the black weave, then you can also try placing your order through the internet. The price for the Sweater is set at $110 which makes it cheaper than most Jordan Brand shoes in the market today.
