The month of the said “Rare Air” AJ1s is just around the corner and the anticipation of when the new pair of kicks will be released has made Jordan heads talking. But talk no more. July is here and if rumors serve right, the big date for the release of the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air using a Black/Varsity Red-White colorway is set around the third week of July.

So far, it was from Sneaker News where we get our first and best look of the soon-to-be released Air Jordan 1 Rare Air. Just like the typical colorway of the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago”, the colorway combination of Black/Varsity Red-White of the Rare Air is reminiscent of the Chicago-inspired colors. However, instead of the Varsity Red and White which dominates the Chicago AJ1s, the Rare Air AJ1s uses a minimum on both colors and is more enhanced with the patent black leather dominating the shoes’ upper.

One of the most prominent features of the new Air Jordan 1 Rare Air sporting the Black/Varsity Red-White colorway is the absence of the typical Air Jordan “Wings” on the ankle replaced with a bold font text of “Air Jordan” instead.
