The Hot Lava is an entirely different colorway compared to the darkly colorful Lola Bunny. It reminds us a little of the “Verde” design but with more eye-popping shades that is hard to miss.

The body is mostly done in white leather with a black overlay that creates a distinctive pattern running from the eye stay down to the sides of the shoe trim. The tongue is where this model gets its name as the Hot Lava color covers the whole tongue with an Air Jordan marking on the top. The laces are in pure black so that the hot-red-pink color really stands out. As for the interior – it has the same hot lava design.

Along the sides of the ankle, you get this black patch in the middle of the white body displaying the silhouette of His Airiness, Michael Jordan. The Jump Man logo is stitched and done completely in white to make it pop out. The only other place you get to see the Hot Lava color is along the midsole, sandwiched by black accents and a translucent outsole which seems to be a favorite of Air Jordan nowadays.

The Air Jordan release date for this particular model is scheduled for July this year which isn’t far off. Celebrating 23 years of this silhouette, we’re actually expecting more Air Jordan 7 colorways to be released this year that fits the female population.

Reports suggest that the model will be sold for $140 a pair so that’s actually cheaper than other Air Jordan models today. If you’re sure about getting these, have yours reserved before July 11 hits so that you’ll be one of the first few to get the Hot Lava.

Note that it’s a GS version so guys are out of luck. However, if you have slightly smaller feet, you just might be able to fit into one of these – or perhaps get them for a girlfriend!
