With Nike being the premiere brand when it comes to sports shoes, it is not surprising that they have decided to add new designs and name it after some current basketball legends. We have had a series of Michael Jordan shoes and this time, its LeBron’s turn in the spotlight.
Nike LeBron 12 “Cleveland”
Colorway:Bright Laser Orange – Red Orange Swoosh
Style Code: 684593-830
Release Date: June 13, 2015
That being said, Sneaker News presents the Nike LeBron 12 “Cleveland” design. It is possibly one of the loudest kicks produced by Nike, using colors that are just too easily noticed. The Cleveland kicks are made using several vibrant colors starting with the Bright Laser Orange Hyperfuse and a Red Orange Swoosh.
The Bright Laser Orange takes most of the upper portion of the shoes while the lower half sports a basic black color. The Red Orange shade is reserved for Nike’s check logo, placed right on top of the black lower portion. This helps balance the overall design of the shoe, plus the black background makes sure that the check mark stands out from the rest of the body.
Up close, you will be able to see the level of detail Nike has put into the creation process of these kicks. There are white-range markings on the upper, tracking a pattern that makes the shoes more distinguished. There are also marking in the interior and on the tongue where the laces transcend in a crisscross pattern.
As for the laces, they follow the same Red Orange pattern together with the interior. The outsole is a translucent blue with the bottom a pattern of geometric shapes. Obviously, Nike is not putting a silhouette of His Airiness on these kicks so do not expect anything else. The loud colors and the large brand by Nike are already enough to make you the center of attention when wearing these shoes.
Shortened to CLE, the Cleveland honoring LeBron are tribute to the fact that the basketball star is starring his season in the Cleveland team. Nike did not just concentrate on the colors with this one but made sure that they are using the best materials by combining black carbon fiber overlay together with a golden mesh.
The Nike LeBron 12 “Cleveland” will be available at the same time as the Air Jordan release date of the Air Jordan 13 Low Bred. As for the price, it is a little more expensive than most with a tag of roughly $200 for the pair.
