Starting from the eye stay all the way up, the Nightshade is covered with a deep layer of black leather with a mesh design that lends to the comfortable texture of the kicks. The bottom part is what’s interesting according to Sneaker News because it is mostly done in a snakeskin pattern green – the same color you would see on a garden snake as it slithers across the ground with the sun on its back.

Needless today, the Air Jordan 11 Low “Nightshade” is a definite eye-catcher with a unique feel that makes it stand out from other Air Jordan 11 designs. Contrasting with the green and black combination is the pure while sole, layered by a translucent blue outsole – an excellent choice considering how the upper colors are already bold. With the white and translucent blue, Air Jordan is making sure that the black and green combination stands out from the rest of the kicks.

As for logos and iconic designs, the Nightshade boasts a Jump Man logo right in the middle of the tongue where it can be easily seen despite the black laces. The icon is a little small but done in white so there is no mistaking where this green-black marvel comes from. Unfortunately, there are no pictures revealing the rear portion of the shoes so we are not sure if the Jump Man logo is also on display, as per Air Jordan tradition. It is a good bet this is the case as Nike tends to follow on this placement when it comes to the Air Jordan brand.

What’s sure though is that the bottom portion also carries the Jump Man logo. Other than that though, the bottom is just a basic combination of transparent white and yellow along the toes and heels for a simple yet distinguished look. The interior is also done completely in black for that clean, seamless look.

If you like the Nightshade more and more – you’re in for some good news! The colorway was released this 2014 and according to reports, there are still some items available in Jordan Brand stores all over the world. Of course, there’s a chance that a new series of Nightshade will be released by until then, stay in tune for future Jordan release date news.
