Working together, Michael Jordan and Spike Lee managed to come up with one of the most iconic shoe designs in the market today. Making the combo even more outstanding, the original release only came with 4,567 pairs, making this a limited edition design. The good news is that this 2015, the Jordan Spizike will be reintroduced in the market, allowing others to make their bid and get a pair as long as supplies last.
Color:Turquoise Blue/Infrared 23-Midnight Navy- Neutral Grey
Release Date:May 16, 2015
The Jordan Spizike is not a single shoe design. It contains several shoes in a single lineup, featuring mash ups from different Air Jordan shoes, specifically the Jordan III, IV, V, VI, and the Air Jordan XX and IX.
First, there is the Jordan Spizike “Wolf Grey” design which is a beautiful combination of grey, black, white, and red. What makes this stand out is the grey pattern on the front and in the back. The soles are layers of white and red with a deep black tongue that stands out against the red lining. The iconic Jump Man is located inside the shoe while the heels have a “40” logo.
Next, you have the Liquid Metal which comes in two versions: an all-red palette and a silver palette. Aside from the color, the designs on both are practically the same, each one offering a metallic sheen that has earned it the name. The silver palette is set off by a dark black design at the top, making this Jordan Spizike seem like something that came from the future.
Third, we’ve got the Colors of Autumn design which is actually customizable. The whole body of this Jordan shoe resembles the changing leaves of autumn, using a primarily pastel palette or pink, orange, fuchsia, and red. The only different color is the soles which are completely white. Laces are done in canary yellow with a soft green on the center of the tongue. The iconic Jump Man logo is embossed in the center of the green.
Buy Jordan Spizike
According to Sneaker News, the Jordan release date is around May of 2015. This means you still have some time to choose your shoes and have one reserved immediately. Available through all Jordan Brand stores, the Spizike is supposedly available for $175 – not bad for a model that comes in varying designs and colors. Note that there are more Jordan Spizike designs out there, so it’s best to browse around before making your choice. Hopefully, there will be GS versions of the said designs.
