Sneaker News is excited to reveal that the iconic Air Jordan 7 Retro “Bordeaux” might be brought out of the vault with the original design dusted off to be part of the Remastered series. Celebrating 30 years of the brand, the Jordan release date is rumored to be around July this year, which means that Jordan fans still have a few months to watch out for this model.
Air Jordan 7 Retro “Bordeaux” Design
One important thing you should know is that there is no official release for the Remastered version of the Bordeaux yet. Currently, the images rotating online were the same ones that were released in 2011.
Sneaker News is betting there will not be much difference between the 2011 and 2015 versions. The 2011 release was an impressive combination of grey and black with a sunray pattern that manages to create an overlapping distinction for the shoes. The outsole is also a combination of the same two colors with the grey a slightly lighter shade – almost white, in fact. A small dash of orange can be seen from the side of the outsole, the only bright pastel color on this very manly Jordan shoe.
The tongue is a solid black, blending well with the equally black laces. A patch of grey can be seen on the side, highlighting the Jump Man logo which appears to be done in heavy violet. The heels are emblazoned with the number 23 – you should know exactly what this is for.
Air Jordan Workmanship
Now, there is no question that the workmanship for the Air Jordan 7 Retro “Bordeaux” is top caliber. The original release was made from highly durable products and with the current technology utilized by Nike today; it is safe to say there’s something Jordan fans can really look forward to with this release. Fans are hoping the Bordeaux will be as light as promised, especially since it looks and feels like the kind of shoes you wear for heavy duty games.
Since there’s no official release of the Air Jordan 7 Retro “Bordeaux” images yet, it would be tough to decide if you want this as part of your collection. Rumors however, reveal that the Bordeaux will be available for $190 which is no different from the other Air Jordan Remastered releases this year.
Once the images become available, the product will surely be a fast sell in Jordan Brand stores. Make your decision now so you can put in for an early order of the pair.
