The design aspect of it, Mr. Jordan busted out some of his best work on these special 30th anniversary editions. These AJ1’s are not only luxurious looking but the comfort is totally out of this world, they are light, spacious and free. They employ an all black snakeskin-like material highlighted by the creative use of gold and the detailing has never been done so efficiently on any Air Jordan that comes to memory.

There are these striking gold plates with the text “MJ23” and also “1985” which rest directly on the heel. Another item that is etched in the gold plating is the Nike symbol, which sits squarely upon the tongue of the shoe. The upper is blue scaled, which is quite similar in many ways to the “Legends of Summer” Air Jordans 1. Waxed laces of the navy blue tone are viewed along the upper then loop through the gold and all the way up through the eyelets to the backing silhouette.

Another design which is really cool is the white midsole which makes the perfect accent to the blue and gold. There is something really special about the 2015 collection thus far and some of the colorways which are making the rounds define Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn’s as the very best that Nike and Air Jordan have ever employed. It is a great time indeed to be an enthusiast of this prestigious line of athletic footwear.
